When our founders first began tending their precious Royal Riviera® Pears, they knew they had something truly special on their hands. These extra-large pears were butter-smooth and saturated with sweet juice, making for an extraordinary delight they couldn't keep to themselves. Harry & David sold their first Royal Riviera® Pears in 1934, and the rest is history. To celebrate 90 years of sharing, we've worked with Rogue Valley artist Gloria Kastenberg to design a commemorative tin featuring artwork of our Kirtland pear orchard during spring bloom. Of course, nestled inside are several of our famous pears, still just as spectacular as when they first hit the market nearly a century ago.
